Charlotte Flair sent TV screens to black after the wardrobe malfunction

WWE star Charlotte Flair suffered a wardrobe malfunction during a match, forcing the wrestling company to cut the broadcast.

The diva was competing against Nia Jax on Smackdown last night when her assets decided to poke their way to freedom. The first time came when she dived at her opponent from the top rope, with WWE cutting to black while Flair adjusted her top.

Later on it happened again – and the broadcaster had to cut for longer while Flair ran into the corner to properly sort out the issue. To add insult to injury, Flair lost the match which had been marred by the wardrobe malfunctions.

Flair is an American professional wrestler, author and actress, She is currently signed to WWE under the SmackDown brand. Her real name is Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr, and she made her WWE debut in 2013.

Although Flair is a bonafide WWE legend, she is also the daughter of wrestling icon Ric Flair, who retired nearly 20 years ago.

Flair a 14-time world champion, previously told how her “unique” dad Ric is “the one person who never, ever gave up on my potential to be great” as she revealed she took up wrestling to help her brother Reid, who later died of a drug overdose.

Ric, 76, said of his daughter: “She’s surpassed my legacy already. If they were smart and I had anything to say on it, I would have her break Cena’s world title record. Because I think it would be one of those things that would be so big. She would be a Serena Williams.”

Speaking to escapist magazine on behalf of the Daily Star, he added: “She hates it when I say that. But the female wrestlers are so good now. I mean, there’s more good female talent than there is male. It’s not even close.

“You’ve got Naomi, Becky Lynch, Bailey, Iyo Skye, I don’t want to leave anyone out but I don’t know all of their names. You talk about athletic ability, Jesus Christ! Asuka, the list goes on.”

Writing in the Players Tribune earlier this year, she said of being a wrestler: “It wasn’t my dream. That was Reid’s dream… he was the one following in our dad’s footsteps. Me? I was just following in Reid’s footsteps. I just wanted to be there for him.
