Boy, 4 fights for all times after being struck by firework at Bonfire Night occasion

A boy is fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a firework on an evening marred by antisocial behaviour. The incident happened at a Bonfire Night event in the Elm Street area of Burnley, Lancs.

Police have now released images of a young man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident and are calling on the public to identify him, the MEN reports.

A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “We are aware this area has seen previous anti-social use of fireworks but this year has gone too far, resulting in a child being hospitalised.

“We are urging the community to do the right thing and tell us who he is.”
