Two people have died and at least 18 others have been injured after a lorry crashed into crowds at a bustling outdoor market. Emergency services rushed to the scene in Bucheon city, within the Seoul metropolitan area of South Korea, on Thursday, as the horrifying incident took place.

The lorry driver, reportedly a man in his 60s, is being interrogated by police, a Bucheon police official stated. Initial reports from Park Geum-cheon, an official at Bucheon’s fire station, suggest the lorry initially reversed before driving forward for nearly 500 feet, striking pedestrians, reports the Express.
