Victoria Beckham has won over the beauty world with her first-ever foundation.

Last month, the Spice Girl launched her first-ever foundation, The Foundation Drops with TFC8, in collaboration with Augustinus Bader, which costs a staggering £104 for 30ml.

‘We created The Foundation Drops for minimalists like me,’ the website product description written by Victoria, now known as Lady Beckham, following her husband David’s knighthood last week.

Victoria, 51, has previously opened up about her own long-term struggles with her skin, saying she has struggled with bad acne and ‘feeling self-conscious’.

In a video tutorial posted to her official TikTok account on September 3, Beckham explained that she doesn’t like a foundation that is ‘too heavy’. Instead, the beauty mogul prefers ‘something that isn’t going to sink into my skin’.

‘There’s nothing worse than when a foundation is really thick and you can literally see it sitting in these creases. I hate that,’ she added.

In the weeks since its drop, shoppers have been left aghast at the foundation price.

‘Victoria Beckham’s foundation costing £100 is insane. I’ve got two YSL foundations, and it doesn’t even cost that much combined,’ one flabbergasted person wrote on X.

But those who have tried the product have left rave reviews, with one person writing: ‘I hate that I love it so much because that dang foundation is so expensive.’

Another person declared that the foundation, which acts both as a skincare and a make-up product, ‘is soooo good’.

‘£104 for a foundation, is it worth it??? I fear it is,’ makeup artist Joanna Windram wrote on TikTok, in a video reviewing the product.

Windram gushed the foundation is ‘absolutely beautiful’ and ‘looks like skin’. She added: Didn’t wanna love it, but I love it’.

In another video, @mandylikes said it was ‘probably the most expensive foundation I own but I already know I will love it’. She explained the product ‘melts so beautifully into the skin’.

Victoria told British Vogue in August: ‘I struggled with my skin throughout my entire life.

‘When I say I used to have bad skin, there was a time when I couldn’t put a pin between the acne on my face. I know how it feels not to feel confident because of your skin.

‘I remember doing the school run when I was testing a different foundation and I felt so self-conscious that it was so heavy, I didn’t want to look the other mums in the eye – I felt like I had a mask on.

The foundation – in particular its price tag – has been the buzz of the internet recently

‘I want my foundation to give me confidence, to perfect my complexion, but I don’t want to feel like I’m wearing a mask. That’s a very old-fashioned look.’

The foundation is lightweight, and acts both as a skincare and a make-up product.

Victoria said: ‘The formula melts into my skin for a naturally flawless complexion and nourishes with Augustinus Bader’s TFC8® technology as I wear it.

‘This is the first foundation that feels like nothing, yet truly does everything.’

Beckham launched her own beauty brand, Victoria Beckham Beauty, in 2019.

The Spice Girls star has since come out with lipsticks, mascara, concealer and more.

The brand’s 2.4 ml Concealer Pen with TFC8, also in collaboration with Augustinus Bader, retails for £64.
