Simone Biles has offered a candid perspective on her boob job as she discussed her choice to undergo cosmetic procedures.

The Olympic gymnast, 28, has emphasised the importance of transparency regarding the treatments she’s had, believing people should feel “no shame” about their personal body choices. Biles recently disclosed on TikTok that she’s had three cosmetic procedures, challenging her followers to identify what they believed these treatments were.

Whilst she didn’t explicitly confirm the details in the video, she hinted that two of the three modifications might be barely noticeable. The seven-time Olympic champion then responded to numerous users who commented on her post.

Although she remained playful about her breast enhancement by simply using the cherries emoji, she was forthright about her lower blepharoplasty (reducing puffiness from the lower eyelids and removing surplus skin from the upper eyelid) and earlobe procedure.

Speaking about the boob job, Simone confessed in an interview with People, that she didn’t undergo the procedure because she “didn’t like” her appearance.

She acknowledged that “obviously you can notice the breasts,” but emphasised that beyond that, “it’s just feeling good about yourself and loving yourself, and I’ve always been very vocal about that.”

Biles further clarified that it wasn’t because she disliked her appearance or how she felt, adding that it was “just something that I notice obviously a little bit more because I live in this body, I’m just so used to it.”

Discussing her decision to speak openly about these treatments she has had, she said: “It’s just who I am and I feel like I’ve always tried to be open, honest and relatable. Seeing me win medals at the Olympics, that’s not relatable. But what is relatable is how we feel about ourselves, what we talk about, what we go through and how we share openly, honestly. That’s why I decided to share it.

She explained: “I got a lower bleph (blepharoplasty) because me and my family have, I call it the ‘Biles eye bags,’ we’ve just always had them, hereditary, and so that was just a big flaw. Every time I would go to a shoot, they’re like, ‘Oh, can we put some strips on her?’

“And I was like, ‘Oh, baby, I had 12 hours last night, these aren’t going away. These are just hereditary. So it’s something that I wanted to fix.”

She then shared how she underwent “plastic surgery” on her ear “to get it fixed” after one of her earrings “got ripped out” in her childhood.

Biles also pointed out that “social media is not real, so that’s why I try to be as transparent as possible,” admitting that she hopes her choices “show young girls that they have the right to their own choices, whatever they are, and that’s no shame added as well.”
