Police have have sealed off a McDonald’s branch after reports of of an incident at the branch today (November 18).
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed one person is in hospital following an “altercation” that is believed to have occurred outside.
A heavy police presence can still be seen surrounding the restaurant following calls of a suspected fight at around 1pm.
The injured individual was not taken to hospital by paramedics but self-presented at Accident & Emergency (A&E).
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “Officers were called to Station Road, in Filton, just before 1pm today (Tuesday, November 18) following reports of an altercation outside the McDonalds Restaurant.
“One person has self-presented at hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life changing. A scene is in place and officers are carrying out enquiries to identify the other individuals involved.
“If you were in the area and the time of the incident and saw anything, please call 101 and quote reference 5225323575.”
