British children comedian Beano lampoons Trump and Musk with barking hair and JD Vance as Labubu

The Beano is poking fun at Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos in a new comic marking the biggest moments of 2025. A special edition of the classic comic sees the trio of US president, tech billionaire and Amazon boss, blast off on a hilariously doomed space mission.

The story sees them outsmarted by the Bash Street Kids and their AI sidekick. It shows Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Sir Keir Starmer blasting off into space on a doomed mission, joined by a miniature JD Vance dressed as the iconic Labubu doll.

The politicians and billionaires are forced to abandon ship as it heads to Mars after it is hijacked by comic staples the Bash Street Kids. The strip ends with the Bash Street Kids saving the day and restoring order in Beanotown.

The story is being told in a new edition, titled Beanofy Unwrapped; a year-in-review through kids’ eyes. The eight-page pull-out in this week’s Beano comic also nods to this year’s biggest kid-culture crazes.

They range from the viral “Italian brainrot” and “6-7” meme to the “Chicken Jockey” catchphrase. Alan Carr’s Traitors triumph, Katy Perry’s trip to space and Taylor Swift‘s engagement to Travis Kelce are among the 2025 events to get the comic treatment in a special edition of the Beano.

Mike Stirling, Director of Mischief at Beano, said: “With Beanofy Unwrapped, kids get the final word on 2025. All the bad, sad or boring bits are banished, and 2025’s main characters are ‘Beanofied’ into the funniest versions of themselves.

“There are even some politicians, to remind groan-ups that thinking like a kid can make everything funny. We’ve packed it with laughter, mischief and the kind of creativity only kids could bring, for families to enjoy together.”
