A major blaze has broken out at one the University of Warwick’s halls of residence as images spread across social media of the roof on fire.
Fire crews are currently dealing with an incident at Arthur Vick Halls of Residence in Coventry as several videos of the fire have been posted on social media.
According to The Boar, the University of Warwick’s student newspaper, the incident is on the top floor of the Arthur Vick 1 building.
Images and videos of the blaze have been posted across TikTok and X, showing students evacuated outside as huge flames can be seen from the roof of the building.
Other posts from students also show fire crews and fire engines actively working at the scene.
West Midlands Fire Service has been contacted for comment.
