The beloved Truck Tour is making its return this weekend, promising an ‘immersive, magical winter wonderland experience designed to bring communities together and ignite the true spirit of Christmas’
The much-anticipated Coca-Cola truck is kickstarting its 15 date tour this weekend. It’s promising an “immersive, magical winter wonderland experience designed to bring communities together and ignite the true spirit of Christmas. “
Visitors from Edinburgh are invited to step into a festive spectacle, where twinkling lights illuminate the iconic red truck, creating the perfect backdrop for seasonal selfies. Guests can enjoy festive games with prizes up for grabs and soak in the holiday spirit whilst enjoying an ice-cold Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coke Zero or Diet Coke.
In the spirit of the season, Coca-Cola will continue its partnership with FareShare, the UK’s leading food redistribution charity fighting hunger and food waste. To celebrate the return of the iconic Truck Tour and its mission to bring joy, Coca-Cola will make a direct donation to FareShare, equivalent to 1 million meals, supporting their vital work in getting good-to-eat food that would otherwise to go to waste to those who need it most – right across the UK.
Graham Kelly, Head of Fundraising at FareShare said: “We are so grateful to Coca-Cola for their continued support for FareShare. This incredibly generous donation means this festive season the equivalent of 1 million meals will reach people and communities in need.
“Every day, food from FareShare reaches over 8,000 charities across the UK, from after-school and community lunch clubs to homelessness shelters, providing nutritious meals alongside access to vital services.
“Coca-Cola’s support for FareShare is instrumental in strengthening communities and improving lives in every region of the UK. Together, we can create lasting change, one meal at a time.”
Elodie Peribere, Senior Marketing Director for Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland, said: “Coca-Cola remains synonymous with Christmas, and we’re delighted to bring back our iconic Truck Tour.
“This year, we’re encouraging everyone to ‘Refresh Your Holidays’ and take a well-deserved pause to create uplifting moments with loved ones. Our continued partnership with FareShare is incredibly important to us, and we hope to make this Christmas a little more meaningful for thousands of people across the country.”
For those unable to visit the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck in person, the festive on-pack promotion across Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola Original Taste, and Diet Coke packs offers a chance to win thousands of festive gifts by scanning QR codes.
Liam Smith, centre director at Fort Kinnaird, said: “The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck is always a real highlight in our festive calendar at Fort Kinnaird. This year’s visit is set to bring plenty of buzz to the centre, and it’s a great chance for families to make a proper day of it – whether that’s taking a picture with the truck, getting some shopping done or grabbing a bite to eat. We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone for what should be another great year.”
A Spokesperson from Asda, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck to our store in Edinburgh.
