Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus gaze lovingly at one another as they ooze romantic bliss at CMA Awards

Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus were clearly still in the throes of their honeymoon phase at the CMA Awards this Wednesday.

The 60-year-old actress announced her romance to the 64-year-old crooner on Easter, and they have projected an image of besotted romantic bliss ever since.

This week was no exception as the couple joined a cavalcade of stars at the red carpet of the country music awards show Nashville.

Cyrus is a two-time CMA winner, once for the 1992 song Achy Breaky Heart that launched him to stardom and once for his 2019 comeback single, the remix of the Lil Nas X song Old Town Road on which he was featured.

Although he is not a nominee this year, he and his girlfriend are slated to hit the stage during the festivities to present single of the year.

They oozed glamour as they held hands on the red carpet, she in a sizzling scarlet wrap dress that plunged to serve up a generous helping of cleavage.

The ex-girlfriend of Hugh Grant showed off her still enviably chiseled physique in the knockout gown, which featured a thigh-slit to flash her statuesque legs.

Letting her dark hair cascade over her shoulders in luxurious waves, she emphasized her luminous complexion with makeup for her latest night out.

Hurley accessorized with a bracelet and a gleaming set of drop earrings, lending herself a touch of added stature by balancing expertly on towering platform heels.

Meanwhile the father of Miley Cyrus plumped for head-to-toe black, wearing a raven suit with the requisite matching cowboy hat.

He left his top few buttons tantalizingly undone over his chest, allowing for a glimpse of the large gleaming cross he was wearing.

Adding the fashion forward touch of aviator sunglasses, Cyrus treated the photographers to his dazzling megawatt smile.

He and Hurley seemed thrilled with each other’s company, beaming and gazing lovingly into one another’s eyes as they swanned across the red carpet.

The category they are presenting has proven a competitive field this year, including Lainey Wilson up for 4x4xU and rising bluegrass star Zach Top for I Never Lie.

Their rivals are Luke Combs for Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma, Megan Moroney for Am I Okay? and Ella Langley for You Look Like You Love Me featuring Riley Green.

Cyrus himself won single of the year – one of his two CMA Awards ever – for Achy Breaky Heart, the song that made him a nationwide sex symbol.

He was regarded as a one-hit wonder for decades following that song, until he landed another smash in 2019 by featuring on the Old Town Road remix.

Hurley and Cyrus are joining a glittering list of presenters at this year’s show, including Steve Martin, LeAnn Rimes and Billy Bob Thornton.

Country crooner Cody Johnson, who just announced the birth of his third child, is also on the lineup, as is Reacher star Alan Ritchson.
