A group of British lads were left howling when one of their pals went all out to look the part of the superhero, but the man is now feeling the repercussions of the fancy dress getup
A British lad has been left scrubbing himself clean for days after accidentally using paint instead of makeup for a fancy dress costume. The man had been heading out into Benidorm for a good party, but problems soon cropped up once the group came home.
British tourist Kane had been out in the holiday hotspot celebrating with his mates, who were documenting their time in the Spanish getaway city on TikTok. His pal Graham White started to reveal just how much Kane had committed to the bit as he struggled to get the paint off, racking up millions of views.
Now, Kane has revealed just how much of a faff it was to get the entire costume off. His pal Graham said even by the time he did get the paint off, marks were still to be seen days after.
Graham, 48, recalled how the night got underway after the troop headed out to Spain for a lads’ holiday. Deciding to dress up for the night, the boys got all dolled up for their night on the town, but Kane took it one step further.
In a bizarre move, Kane had opted to get dressed up as the Hulk and took to smearing textile paint — an incredibly hard substance to clean off — around his body. According to Graham, he had chosen the industrial-grade paint as he was afraid the paint could come off over the course of the night whilst he was sweating.
“It was 100% accidental,” Middlesborough-based Graham said. Kane had been under the illusion that it was an easy paint to remove, having tried and tested it earlier in the day on his arm and was able to remove it with no problems.
But little did he know that textile paint, once set, is very hard to remove. And after several hours of being baked into Kane’s skin, the paint was stuck in, causing Kane to panic as it would not come off the man’s body.
“It took three days to get most of it off,” Graham said, recalling he hilarious incident. “He had six baths and was in a steam room for ages — but the paint is still on his head and neck in places.”
Dramatic video footage captured by pal Graham shows Kane before hitting the town, using the can of paint and a paintbrush to apply the problematic substance. He started off with his face and his neck before making his way down to his abs and arms.
However, unbeknown to the group at the time, Kane had applied a total of six different layers of textile paint to his skin. While he did flaunt his fancy dress as they partied in the Spanish getaway, his skin was left tainted with a small green hue from the paint once it was eventually removed.
Viewers watching Kane get ready for the night out were already in stitches as the lad pulled out all the stops for their escapades, with one commenter joking: “IQ lower than his shoe size.”
Others added: “Lad is an absolute nutter, but love it.” Whilst a third, who was in Benidorm at the time, wrote: “Seen him in Benidorm earlier with most of it still on him, sat on the bench.”
Later clips caught of the lad saw him struggling to get the paint off, having to go for several baths and finally bringing himself out, as a fully clean man. However, some specks of green could still be seen around his neck.
