Police are painstakingly tracing the last known movements of heavily pregnant teen as a frantic search for her persists. However, it’s the 17-year-old’s online activity in the weeks leading up to her disappearance that has taken on an eerie new significance.
Kacey-Rae vanished on Sunday (November 23), triggering a large-scale search operation across Gloucestershire and the West Midlands. She is thought to be with a 17-year-old boy named George, who has also been reported missing.
While officers comb through CCTV footage and appeal for sightings, a Facebook post penned by Kacey-Rae on October 11 has surfaced. Weeks before she went missing, Kacey-Rae turned to social media with what appeared to be a kind-hearted offer to give away her clothes for free.
“Anyone know anyone or is in need of clothes,” she posted on Facebook.
“A few women’s clothes here (I’m still going through them so might be more) that someone can collect if they are in need!” They aren’t the best and aren’t immaculate but would definitely help someone in need out, will wash before collection. Message me if you’re interested x.”
This post, seemingly a simple act of charity or typical “nesting” behaviour seen in expectant mums, is one of her last public interactions before she disappeared, reports Stoke on Trent Live.
Her Facebook profile reveals her baby is expected next month. She posted her pregnancy news on Facebook on May 28, sharing a snap of her positive test alongside a baby vest featuring her scan image.
On September 30, she revealed her engagement to a lad named Jordan Follows, who also used the pregnancy reveal as his cover photo.
Officers have pieced together a timeline of the couple’s final known whereabouts. They were spotted together on November 23 at 5.30pm in Kings Square, Gloucester city centre.
The pair were then caught on camera at 8pm the same day at Gloucester train station. This marks their final confirmed sighting. Kacey-Rae, originally from Walsall but now residing in Cinderford, Forest of Dean, is thought to be trying to return to the West Midlands with ‘George’, who hails from Wolverhampton.
Gloucestershire Constabulary has launched an urgent appeal, expressing serious worry for Kacey-Rae given her advanced pregnancy.”
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for Kacey-Rae’s welfare,” a force spokesperson stated. “She is heavily pregnant… enquiries are ongoing to locate them. “.
She’s described as 5ft 6ins tall with brown hair featuring red highlights worn piled on top of her head. The teenager was last spotted wearing a pink hoodie, black coat with fur-trimmed hood and grey flared leggings.
George is described as approximately 6ft tall, of a large build and with blonde hair. He was last seen in a blue McKenzie tracksuit.
The public have been assisting in the search by sharing Gloucestershire Police’s appeal on social media.
