The White House has revealed the results of Donald Trump’s MRI scan.

Reading a summary from the president’s physician today, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump’s cardiovascular imaging came back “perfectly normal”, and that there was “no evidence” of arterial narrowing impairing blood flow or abnormalities in the heart.

Overall, Leavitt said Trump’s cardiovascular system was found to be in “excellent health”. “All major organs appear very healthy and well-perfused,” the statement from the doctor said.

The statement read: “As part of President Donald J. Trump’s comprehensive executive physical, advanced imaging was performed because men in his age group benefit from a thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health.

“The purpose of this imaging is preventive: to identify issues early, confirm overall health, and ensure he maintains long-term vitality and function. President Trump’s cardiovascular imaging is perfectly normal. There is no evidence of arterial narrowing impairing blood flow or abnormalities in the heart or major vessels.

“The heart chambers are normal in size, the vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, and there are no signs of inflammation, or clotting.

“Overall, his cardiovascular system shows excellent health. His abdominal imaging is also perfectly normal. All major organs appear very healthy and well-perfused. Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns.”

There had been speculation surrounding Trump’s health after he was pictured with what appeared to be bruising on one of his hands.

In other images, it looked as if make-up was being used to disguise the bruises. Some had even suggested his ankles appeared swelled at times.

It comes after Trump sparked fury by setting free yet another convicted billion dollar fraudster. The president stepped in just 12 days into David Gentile’s jail term to commute the con’s seven-year sentence. It came despite the 59-year-old taking investors for £1.21 billion.

Gentile had only reported to prison on November 14 before he was abruptly released last week, according to Bureau of Prisons records.

Gentile and his co-defendant, Jeffry Schneider, were convicted in August 2024 on securities and wire fraud charges.

Jurors found they misled more than 17,000 retail investors through promises of guaranteed returns from private equity funds managed by their firm, GPB Capital.
