The pop star has been dating hunky younger lover Beau Minniear for around six months and sparked pregnancy rumours when she was spotted in a padded coat over the weekend
Pop star Ellie Goulding has revealed she is pregnant with her second child – and proudly showed off her baby bump at a star-studded red carpet event. The Love Me Like You Do singer, 38, revealed her good news at The 2025 Fashion Awards on Monday.
It comes two weeks since afterpassionate embraces with hunky boyfriend Beau Minniear, 28.
The pair have had a whirlwind romance and Ellie – who already has a son named Arthur, four, from her marriage to art dealer Caspar Jopling – sparked rumours over the weekend when she was spotted in a padded jacket which hid her normally svelte frame.
Ellie split from Jopling, her hubby of five years, in February 2024. She has been dating Beau, who has had a series of small acting roles in independent movies and a handful of US TV series, since the summer.
The pair went on a romantic minibreak to Italy together before returning to London and going public with ringside seats at Wembley Stadium for a fight between Usyk and Dubois. Beau has also shared loved-up photos with her on Instagram.
They were expected to make their first public appearance together at The Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, where Ellie stunned fans by revealing her baby bump as she wore a black crop top under a long overcoat.
First held in 1989, the annual event was originally known as the British Fashion Awards until 2016, when the name changed to better reflect the global pool of talent being recognised.
Considered one of the biggest nights in the fashion calendar, the ceremony honours some of the most dazzling names and faces in the global fashion industry, celebrating household names and emerging designers.
This year, the ceremony is being hosted by actor Colman Domingo, who offered a nod to the awards’ UK heritage by dressing in Burberry for the red carpet.
Ellie wed Caspar in August 2019 but they announced their separation in February 2024. She is one of the most successful British female singers of the 21st century with 43billion streams and released her fifth album Higher Than Heaven in 2023.
She has since been working on a new project. Speaking at the end of 2024, she explained: “I’ve been writing about what’s been going on in my life.”
