A viral video shows a woman dodge death in a hair-raising escape from a 10th floor window, losing her grip for a heart-stopping moment as she flees her lover’s missus
An alleged mistress cheated death in a nail-biting clip that has gone viral in China, showing the woman left clinging on for dear life by her heartless lover after his wife returns home unexpectedly.
The horrifying video shows a woman in a white dress leave a 10th floor window, allegedly to escape a furious wife, then edge along a narrow ledge above a yawning drop.
A shirtless man talks to the woman through the window but then vanishes. Holding her phone, she starts her perilous descent to the floor below, shinning down drainpipes and windowsills. She appears to slide down a water pipe to a neighbour’s window, on which she bangs on for help.
Local reports claim a cheating husband panicked when his wife came home early and pushed his mistress out onto the balcony so she wouldn’t be found.
But the footage has spread rapidly across Chinese social media, attracting massive interest and sparking feverish speculation. Online commenters have described the pair as now “socially dead” after the video was shared widely, with many expecting them to face great embarrassment.
Others warned that climbing outside a high-rise posed a huge risk and could easily have led to tragedy, especially given the narrow ledges and lack of protective barriers.
Luckily for the woman, the neighbour opens up and helps her to safety, although her social ordeal might be just beginning.
Her heart-stopped escape comes after a series of brutal attacks on mistresses by Chinese wives. A woman accused of sleeping with a married man was dragged into the street by her hair in northern Datong city. The alleged mistress, in her twenties, is stripped naked and kicked in the head in broad daylight in front of a crowd of bystanders.
In another incident, caught on camera in the city of Wenzhou, a woman has a concrete slab smashed over head before a group of women push her to the ground and violently stamp on her head.
Another shocking clip, filmed on a smartphone, shows a furious wife yelling obscenities at her husband’s mistress who lies on the floor of an empty restaurant at night.
The betrayed lady punches, slaps and kicks the defenceless girlfriend as her pal swings a large, heavy handbag down to wallop her.
Her love rat husband half-heartedly tries to stop the angry pair from hitting his lover too hard but they break free and continue.
