Trump Can’t Stop Insulting Female Reporters

Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth are facing heat for the strikes, one of which critics claim could potentially be classified as a war crime.

Trump also denigrated another woman reporter when she asked him about the 20 Republicans who announced they weren’t seeking reelection, with some expressing discontent with the party.

“How many Democrats are retiring? How come you only know the Republicans but not the Democrats?” Trump challenged the reporter.

When she said she came prepared to ask him about Republicans leaving their seats, Trump interrupted her.

“No, you’re unprepared, because you should know the Democrats. You’re totally unprepared,” he scolded her.

The latest insults occurred shortly after he lashed out on TruthSocial about CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, describing her as “Stupid and Nasty” after she asked about the rising costs of his 90,000-square-foot ballroom.

Last month, Trump called female reporters “ugly” and “piggy.” He lobbed the former at New York Times reporter Katie Rogers, one of two journalists who worked on a story digging into his health, aging and reduced public appearances.

“Katie Rogers, who is assigned to write only bad things about me, is a third rate reporter who is ugly, both inside and out,” Trump wrote in a lengthy screed on Truth Social. His rant included no mention of Dylan Freedman, who co-bylined the Times story with Rogers.

That incident followed Trump silencing Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey aboard Air Force One after she asked him about the Jeffrey Epstein files.

“Quiet, piggy,” Trump said, wagging his finger.

When asked about his comments to women reporters, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt suggested that journalists should be grateful Trump is “frank and open and honest to your faces rather than hiding behind your backs.”
