Keir Starmer is set to face off with Kemi Badenoch at the penultimate PMQs of the year amid an ongoing row over the Budget.
It comes just hours after the Chancellor Rachel Reeves hit out at “frustrating” and “unacceptable” leaks of her second Budget on November 26 and told MPs the Cabinet Office was now investigating.
An hour before the Budget, the entire plan was also inadvertently leaked by the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) – leading to the resignation of its chief, Richard Hughes.
The PM could also face questions over the attacks by the US President Donald Trump on the London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
The childish US President singled out London’s left-wing mayor – who is the capital’s first Muslim mayor – and launched an attack on “weak” European leaders. He made wild claims about Europe “decaying” and said leaders were “destroying” their nations.
Rachel Reeves orders leak inquiry
The PM is likely to face questions about the Budget inquiry ordered by the Chancellor Rachel Reeves after “frustrating” and “unacceptable” leaks of her second Budget.
Ms Reeves told the Treasury Committee: “The Budget had too much speculation, there were too many leaks, and much of those leaks and speculation were inaccurate.”
