Socialite, 62, who married to 2 princes ties the knot once more with 82-year-old Porsche billionaire

A 62-year-old socialite who has been married to two princes has now tied the knot for a third time – this time, to 82-year-old Porsche billionaire Wolfgang.

Gabriele zu Leiningen started dating the automotive tycoon in 2023, shortly after filing for divorce from his ex, Claudia Hubner, 76.

The happy couple enjoyed a private ceremony – also Wolfgang’s third marriage – in idyllic Salzburg, Austria, not far from the scion’s family headquarters in the town of Zell am See.

Wearing a white tiered chiffon dress with a pussy bow peeking out from under a fitted white satin blazer, the bride looked glowing as she and the groom posed for official photos.

Her look was completed with bejewelled white slingback kitten heels and a modest bouquet of white Christmas roses – which are native to the mountainous regions of Central Europe – with small red flowers interspersed.

And impossible to miss in the pictures was her eye-popping wedding ring encrusted with diamonds of different sizes.

Gabriele zu Leiningen, 62, has tied the knot with Wolfgang Porsche, 82, marking the third marriage for both parties

Wolfgang, whose family is the seventh richest in Germany, and Gabriele, a philanthropist and former model, were friends for 25 years before they began dating

The car magnate is part of the Porsche-Piëch family, the seventh wealthiest family in Germany with a combined net worth of around US$52.8 billion.

Prior to being with Gabriele, Wolfgang was married to ex-wife Claudia for four years but filed for divorce in 2023 due to her declining mental state after she was diagnosed with dementia two years prior.

Whilst he and Gabriele began dating that same year, they had actually met 25 years earlier and had remained good friends ever since.

Wolfgang’s first marriage was to German film producer Susanne Bresser, from 1988 to 2008. They share two children, and Wolfgang also has two more from previous relationships.

Meanwhile, Gabriele’s marriage history has been even more illustrious. Born Gabriele Renate Homey, the former model married Prince Karl Emich of Leiningen, a claimant to the defunct Russian throne, in 1991 in Venice, Italy.

The marriage triggered a succession crisis due to Gabriele’s status as a non-aristocratic commoner, and led Karl to give up his claim to the House of Leiningen and pass on his inheritance to his younger brother, Prince Andreas.

A year later, the couple welcomed their only daughter, Princess Theresa of Leiningen – but they eventually divorced in 1998.

That same year, Gabriele married her second husband, Prince Karim al-Hussaini, better known as Aga Khan IV, the hereditary title of the spiritual leader and imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims.

Gabriele wed the Aga Khan on May 30, 1998, in his estate in Gouvieux, France, and converted to Islam.

She took on the title Begum Inaara Aga Khan and welcomed a son, Aly Muhammad Aga Khan, in 2000, four years before the couple separated over allegations that the Aga Khan was involved in an affair with an air stewardess.

The divorce became an epic and bitter 10 year battle which first began in UK courts but moved across the channel to France when the case in Britain collapsed.

By 2014, a decade after they first separated, the couple finalised their divorce with an undisclosed financial settlement, with reports suggesting it was around the £54 million mark set by the court in 2011.
