Officials accused her and her small crew of travelling around the island without proper registration documents and using the truck to film provocative content
Infamous adult performer Bonnie Blue has escaped a feared stint in an Indonesian “hellhole” jail after being fined just £9 and banned from Bali for 10 years over her antics with a so-called “Bang bus” . . . but the state of her “bus” has now been made public.
The 26-year-old, whose real name is Tia Billinger, faced court in Denpasar today after upsetting locals with a string of traffic offences linked to a blue pick-up truck she had turned into a mobile film set.
Billinger arrived in Bali ahead of Schoolies celebrations and purchased the truck for around 20 million rupiah (900 pounds). The vehicle was emblazoned with the words “Bonnie Blue’s Bangbus” along the side and front, drawing the attention of both residents and police.
It was a massive step down from the one she used in the UK which was more of a plush van, kitted out to give Bonnie some . . . comfort, just her wild sessions.
Officials accused her and her small crew, which included two British men and Australian comedian Julian Woods, of travelling around the island without proper registration documents and using the truck to film provocative content.
The court was shown footage of Blue riding around Bali in the truck, prompting a stern warning from the judge, who ordered the adult star “not to violate Bali’s traffic laws again”. She reportedly responded: “I understand.” She and one of her British companions were given the choice of paying the £9 fine or spending a month in jail.
Billinger is expected to pay before leaving the island on Saturday.
Police criticised her behaviour, saying: “While in Bali, Bonnie Blue should have been travelling, but instead she was creating content.” Authorities confirmed that she and her crew will be blacklisted from Indonesia for “at least 10 years”, with the ban potentially being extended.
Outside court, Billinger made several inappropriate remarks to waiting reporters before signing off with her trademark “hi boys”.
Her court appearance followed a dramatic week in which she was detained on suspicion of breaching Indonesia’s strict morality laws. Furious locals had tipped off officials, claiming she had hired a lorry to traverse the island while filming explicit material with “barely legal” students.
During the raid, police seized cameras, condoms, lubricant, ink necklaces, flash drives and two sheets of Viagra, some of which allegedly showed signs of use.
She was warned she could face up to 15 years in prison and a £270,000 fine if found guilty of producing pornographic content, which is illegal in Indonesia.
However, authorities later confirmed they had found “no evidence of pornographic material”, and Billinger and her team were released after two days of interrogation by immigration officers.
Their passports were confiscated during the ordeal. When asked whether she intended to film more explicit content in Bali, she replied: “Subscribe and you’ll find out.”
Bonnie Blue is no stranger to controversy. She is already banned from Australia and Fiji for filming schoolies content, as well as from OnlyFans, Airbnb and Nottingham Forest’s ground.
