A colossal blaze has swept through a residential area in the Philippines, with firefighters scrambling to the scene in a bid to tame the raging inferno. The fire broke out in Pleasant Hills, Mandaluyonga earlier today (December 12).
Dramatic video footage shared online has captured huge flames and thick plumes of smoke billowing into the air. It is not yet known if anyone is injured.
The blaze broke out at around 7pm local time with local media confirming it has rapidity spread.
