Alisha Lehmann has divided her fans with a video of her rapping on social media. The Switzerland international currently stars for FC Como Women in Italy.

Lehmann has played for the likes of West Ham, Everton and Aston Villa in England, but has built up a vast online following for her eye-catching posts. She left the WSL behind in 2024 to join Juventus.

Now playing for Serie A side Como, it seems football isn’t Lehmann’s only talent. A video uploaded to her TikTok account showed her rapping over a UK drill beat, and fans have had mixed reactions.

In the video, Lehmann can be seen surrounded by friends sitting on a sofa. The drill music is playing through a loudspeaker and Lehmann begins rapping over it.

Some lyrics include: “I am the queen on the field, haters getting dismissed.” The video is captioned ‘Freestyle Lish’ and currently has over 150k likes and 1500 comments on her page, with tens of millions of views on clips circulating the internet.

Of these comments, many are positive. One fan wrote: “Alisha really out here showing she can drop bars and defenders. Multi-talented queen.”

Another added: “She really knows how to freestyle.” While a third supporter penned: “She killed that beat for sure. Those bars were hard.” A fourth said: “That’s actually good and she kept it clean.”

Not everyone was so receptive to Lehmann showing off her talent, however. One wrote: “She should stick to football. She has a future there.” A second said: “Stay with soccer, keep the rapping to real rappers.” While a third added: “She doesn’t even know what she is saying.” A fourth penned: “She should never do that again.”

This isn’t the first time she’s been caught rapping on camera, but Lehmann has always made it clear that football takes priority. She is one of women’s football’s most famous faces and left Juventus for Como this summer in a move she thinks could create “something positive.”

She said after her arrival was announced: “It’s the first time I’ve joined an independent club not linked to a men’s team. That was an important factor in my decision. It shows that there’s a different way to approach football, and maybe it can inspire others to follow this path. I want to be part of that.

“Here, I can grow both as a footballer and as a person. I want to help the team compete at the highest level, but also inspire a new generation of fans and athletes. Como is a space where you don’t have to choose between being strong on the pitch and being yourself off it. Here, I can be all of who I am and turn that into something positive, especially for those watching.

“Women’s football in Italy is going through a very exciting time. There’s so much passion and growing visibility. I believe Italy has everything it takes to become a reference point in Europe and Como can play an important role in that transformation. I’m happy to be here and to be part of it.”
