New photos obtained by the Daily Mail have revealed the hotel room Nick Reiner allegedly left covered in blood following his parents’ horrific murder.
Rob Reiner‘s son checked into room 207 at The Pierside Santa Monica around 4am on Sunday.
It is a $400-a-night boutique hotel about 1,000ft away from the world-famous Santa Monica Pier, and a five minute walk to the LA Metro line that goes directly to the Exposition park area where Nick was eventually arrested by cops.
Nick Reiner was charged with two counts of murder in connection to the deaths of his Hollywood legend father Rob, and his mother Michele. He has not yet entered a plea.
When hotel staff came into Reiner’s room later on Sunday morning, the shower was said to be ‘full of blood’, with splatters across the bed.
The windows in the room were covered by bed sheets – and detectives arrived at the hotel on Monday to collect evidence.
Photos of the outside of the room taken on Wednesday showed that there was no crime scene tape blocking off the room where Nick stayed.
Police are now trying to trace his movements between Saturday night, when he attended a holiday party with his parents, and his arrest at 9.15pm Sunday night in downtown LA.

Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were found dead by their daughter Romy on Sunday afternoon.
They had likely been dead for hours when they were found, with their bodies already showing signs of rigor mortis, according to police sources.
The Hollywood director’s son had been living in the guesthouse of his parents’ $13.5million mansion in the LA suburb of Brentwood at the time of their deaths.
Reiner was increasingly worried about his son and took him to a holiday party hosted by Conan O’Brien Saturday night to ‘keep an eye on him,’ sources have said.
The Daily Mail has approached Pierside for comment.
