The Ebanie Bridges effect in boxing is in full force on the undercard of Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul’s blockbuster bout.

Joshua and Paul clash in the early hours of Saturday morning GMT time at the Kaseya Center in Miami in the bout billed as ‘Judgement Day’. The controversial fight pits sport’s ‘biggest disruptor’, YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, against Britain’s former unified heavyweight world champion.

But the event also boasts a packed undercard, with Cherneka Johnson and Amanda Galle going toe-to-toe for the WBC bantamweight title among the star-studded bill.

During the weigh-in for their bout, both fighters emerged wearing lingerie, channelling former IBF bantamweight title holder Bridges, who has rocked different racy outfits during her career.

Johnson wore a light blue set, with Galle opting for a leopard print outfit. Both fighters squared off without drama before turning to the crowd and flexing.

Watching over the bantamweight division before her return to the ring next month, Bridges shared a video of the weigh-in, proudly retweeting the video.

‘The Blonde Bomber’ wrote: “Watching the Jake Paul & Anthony Joshua weigh ins & seeing all the girls dressed up nice with their hair & make up done and cute sexy outfits…. And making a show of it. I can’t help but think I defs had somthing to do with this weigh in evolution. #Pioneer #JustSaying.”

Ebanie recently encouraged female fighters to separate themselves from the norm of the men’s game, saying: “I wear lingerie, I like lingerie, I’ve got massive t***, I’m gonna f****** show it off. I was a bodybuilder for 10 years. I used to stand on stage in a tiny little G-string, flexing, posing and being all cute.

“People don’t wanna see, watch girls that look like boys, box. I’m sorry, they don’t. It’s gonna be very hard to get eyes on the sport by doing the same thing.

“So we need to change s*** up. And I thought, well I’m the girl for it. Because I’ll do whatever, I don’t give a f*** what people think

“If you like it, you like it, if you don’t, don’t watch me, f*** off, I don’t give s***.

Ebanie has announced her hotly anticipated return to the ring on January 3 2026, against Alexis Araiza in Puerto Rico on the undercard of Amanda Serrano vs Erika Cruz II.

Bridges (9-2) takes on Araiza (3-2-1) in her first fight since she lost the IBF bantamweight title to Miyo Yoshia in December 2023. She has since become a mother to son Ezerra with Brit boxer Kell Brook.

“I’m excited to be getting back in the ring after some time out and even more excited to have my gorgeous son ringside,” said Bridges

“He’s a whole new level of motivation for me. I can’t wait to do what I do best: entertain, put on a show, and deliver an exciting fight.

“Puerto Ricans are known for their heart, pride, and aggression, and those qualities are in my fundamentals. I think they’re going to love the Blonde Bomber.”
