The US Department of Justice has released images of celebrities from the Jeffrey Epstein files following the passing of the Epstein Transparency Act.
The files contain photographs of celebrities mingling with each other or either Epstein and British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell with them. Among these images are photos of Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson.
Bill Clinton, Diana Ross, Chris Tucker and Richard Branson are also pictured. The images have been released without context and simply appearing in the photographs or being mentioned in the files does not indicate any wrongdoing. It is also unknown when the photos were taken.
Other files released include transcripts and evidence in relation to the disgraced financier’s case, but many are heavily redacted.
More files are expected to be released in the coming weeks, with the next release before the end of the year.
