Manchester United are set to enter the transfer window looking to bolster Ruben Amorim’s ranks and the Red Devils’ key target’s wife would ‘welcome a move to Manchester’
After Manchester United and Manchester City have come unstuck in the transfer market with targets opting not to move to the North-East due to concerns from their partners, the Red Devils might be about to profit from one WAG who fancies the idea of Manchester.
Angel Di Maria’s sour exit from the club was compounded by his wife Jorgelina Cardoso claiming she ‘wanted to kill herself’ while living in Manchester. While Ilkay Gundogan’s stunning other half slammed the city’s food scene as ‘horrible’.
But one might just be about to go the city’s way with United target Karim Adeyemi’s wife reportedly welcoming a move to Manchester.
The 23-year-old Borussia Dortmund forward is under contract at the Bundesliga giants until 2027, but is attracting interest from top clubs around Europe.
According to the Daily Mail, Adeyemi is pushing for a release clause of £70million to be included in a contract extension, leaving the door firmly open for him to take the next step in his career.
And Adeyemi’s wife could play a crucial role in persuading the Borussia Dortmund winger to make the switch to Manchester.
Loredana, who is a rapper, would rather see her partner relocate to a “major European city” for his next move.
German outlet BILD have reported that Loredana is keen to leave Germany, leaving the versatile forward in a potentially tricky situation.
Adeyemi returned to German football with Dortmund in 2022 after starring for Red Bull Salzburg. The 11-time Germany international has scored 32 goals and registered 22 assists in 129 games so far for the Schwarzgelben.
However, he has struggled to become Niko Kovac’s first name on the team sheet this season, starting 10 of the 15 Bundesliga games and four of the six Champions League matches, scoring six times and picking up three assists in the process.
Adeyemi wed Swiss/Kosovan star Loredana in 2024 in a private ceremony a year after they met. The 30-year-old was married to fellow rapper Mozzik, who she shares a daughter with.
Loredana rose to fame in 2018 and has won the MTV Europe Music Award as the Best Swiss Act three times.
