An influencer landed herself in hot water after being caught gyrating on the bonnet of a police car. The police accused Karolína Kavalová of showing off her “stripper skills” in an angry social media post.

In the clip, the Czech influencer was seen climbing onto the vehicle’s bonnet before apparently performing several lewd gestures. In a second video, a police officer approached Karolína and told her: “Please don’t sit on my car.”

She admitted afterwards that she had been “out drinking” in the Czech capital Prague on the night of December 20. The two clips went viral on the influencer’s Instagram page with 1.3m and 400,000 views, respectively.

Police spokesperson Jan Daněk said: “The woman caused damage of approximately CZK 20,000 (£718) and will be charged with the crime of causing criminal damage.”

The Police of the Czech Republic also shared a photo of Karolína apparently gyrating on the patrol car on social media.

The message said: “Want to take a picture with a police car? Just ask, and we’ll figure it out somehow.

“If you need to show off stripper skills in public, please don’t destroy our cars.”

They added: “The young lady caused about CZK 20,000 damage and will be charged with the offence of criminal damage to property.”

Despite facing the charge, the influencer responded with a defiant message on December 22.

She said: “You guys are completely stupid. I know for a fact that I didn’t scratch the car. I’m sure they scratched it themselves so they could prosecute me for something.

“I’m an influencer, and I motivate young people, and they’re jealous. They probably didn’t realise that they can’t win in court.”

She added: “CNN will report about it on the news tomorrow, take care, guys.”

It comes as a much-loved food influencer was shot dead by cops after reportedly “waving a knife erratically.” Michael Duarte, known as FoodWithBearHands from California died on November 8 – just three days after celebrating his wedding anniversary.
