Former WWE divas champion Kaitlyn has wowed fans with her stunning new look after chopping off her iconic dreadlocks.

The ex-grappler, real name Celeste Bonin, had the super-long hairstyle for four years but stunned fans by revealing her new bob on social media.

She wrote: “I cut my dreads after four years! My soul was craving a change and a full identity upgrade.”

The drastic change left fans drooling, with one writing: “Love love love!! I mean your so stunning anyway.”

Current WWE wrestler Charlotte Flair left a flame emoji under another photo showing off her new trim, as did hundreds of Celeste’s followers.

The new trim and the caption also sparked questions from fans over a possible return to the ring.

Celeste, 39, started with the WWE in 2010 and debuted on season three of the ill-fated NXT reality series, which she won.

She won the Divas Championship in 2013 but retired from WWE in 2014 and has not been seen in a wrestling since a brief return in 2018 for the Mae Young Classic all-women’s tournament when she lost in the second round to Mia Yim.

She then turned herself into a love and life coach and changed her entire look in the process and was often seen sporting long dreadlocks in social media snaps.

One fan wrote of her new look: “Welcome back 2013 Kaitlyn.” Another asked: “Royal rumble return??”

In November 2024, she said in an interview that she is “always open” to a WWE return if it “makes sense”.

She revealed she had been backstage at a Royal Rumble a few years ago where a return was discussed but ultimately didn’t happen.

Other fans just commented on her looks, with one simply saying: “Love the cut!!” Another added: “The short hair looks good on you Ms Celeste Bonin.”

A third added: “Timeless and gorgeous the only difference is the lack of blonde you didn’t age at all!”

She has stayed in shape since leaving the wrestling business and is often seen flexing her huge biceps and her killer abs in her photos.

It is a wrestling tradition for retired wrestlers to return to in-ring action at the Royal Rumble, either as a cameo appearance or to kickstart another run.

The event, held annually in January, will take place in Saudi Arabia as part of the Riyadh Season of events hosted by the gulf state in a bid to diversify its economy and rebrand as a more welcoming country. It will be the first time it has been held outside North America.
