Follow Daily Mail Sport’s live blog for the latest scores and set-by-set updates from semi-final night of the 2026 PDC World Championship where Luke Littler takes on Ryan Searle before Gary Anderson vs Gian van Veen.

Meet the fan with a chance to win £180,000!

Curtis, an electrician from Wrexham, can’t quite believe his luck. Thanks to PaddyPower, the keen darts player will get a chance to strut his stuff on stage tonight, and if he bags a score of more than 180 across nine darts, he’ll win £180,000!

He’ll feature before the main event. Good luck to the lad!

Who is Luke Littler’s opponent Ryan Searle?

This is a really exciting night for Ryan Searle, 38, from Holcombe Rogus in Devon.

He’d never been beyond the fourth round of the world championship before this year. Now he’s hours away from a potential final place.

Quite remarkably, the world No 20 has formed himself a credible darts career despite suffering from an incurable sight condition called Autosomal Dominant Optic. Someties, when his darts land on the board, he can’t even see where they have hit and has to ask for clarification. Good luck to him. What a night.

Who is on tonight?

There are two match-ups on tonight, with a chance to be in the final. If you win the whole thing you earn yourself a handy million quid – being the losing runner-up is worth £400,000.

  • Luke Littler vs Ryan Searle (7.40pm)
  • Gian van Veen vs Gary Anderson (after that!)

Littler’s phenomenal record

Littler has beat Darius Labanauskas (3-0), David Davies (3-0), Mensur Suljovic (4-0), Rob Cross (4-2), and Krysztof Ratajski (5-0) to get to this stage.

That’s right, he’s only dropped two sets throughout the entire tournament, and it took 2018 world champion Cross to nick those off him.

Good evening

Hello and welcome to Daily Mail Sport’s coverage of the darts!

It’s the greatest show in town, and in the next few hours we’ll find out if Luke Littler will get a shot at earning a second world title tomorrow night… or if his dream will come crashing down.
