Kamala Harris and husband Doug Emhoff have reportedly expanded their real estate portfolio by scooping up an $8 million mega mansion in a very star-studded neighborhood.
According to the New York Post, the couple has purchased a 4,000-square-foot four-bedroom, six-bathroom home in the luxurious Point Dume area of Malibu, California.
The home, which is just a stones throw away from the beach, ‘blends modern luxury with natural beauty,’ per the listing.
It boasts an in-home office with ‘vaulted wood-beamed ceilings, skylights and French windows’ that offer breathtaking views of the nearby ocean.
The ‘main living area’ is ‘bathed in natural light’ and features a built-in speaker system and a gas fireplace.
The master bedroom has a massive closet while the primary bathroom comes complete with rainfall shower, freestanding soaking tub and double vanities ‘creating a spa-like atmosphere.’
The kitchen is described as a ‘chef’s dream’ with a stone island and top Miele appliances like a double oven, dishwasher, microwave and spacious fridge-freezer.

The ‘private oasis’ outside includes a landscaped backyard, fireplace, TV, outdoor kitchen and dining area as well as a sunken wet bar with stone counters, mini wet fridge and sink.
There’s also a guest house on the property, as well as a pool, built-in jacuzzi, cold plunge, sauna and a ‘private putting and chipping green’ for golf fans.
‘A converted garage now serves as a professional gym with mat flooring, mirrors, and French doors opening to a turf area,’ adds the listing.

According to the listing, the home was sold for $8.15 million on December 2, 2025.
The Post reported that ‘several Point Dume residents spotted Emhoff strolling through the neighborhood’ in recent weeks.

Harris and Emhoff also own a home in Brentwood, California, which Emhoff purchased for $2.7 million in 2012 before they met.
The 3,500-square-foot abode has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, and is now worth $4.8 million, per Zillow.
Harris previously lived in a $1.77 million two-bedroom apartment in Washington, D.C., which she bought in 2017 after she was elected to the Senate.
She went on to sell the 1,700-square-foot abode for $1.85 million in 2021.
While serving as Vice President she lived at the historic Number One Observatory Circle.
The 9,150-square-foot home has hosted every Vice President since 1977 and George H.W. Bush famously hosted 900 parties at the residence when he lived there.
