‘A tragic death, another shooting, and chaos have all hit Minneapolis – but instead of helping locals, Trump and his yes men fuelled political divide in a series of cheap blows’
Another person was shot by ICE, unleashing more pain in Minneapolis, but the government was fast to try and throw Joe Biden under the bus.
Shocking reports from last night revealed a man was shot in the leg by an ICE agent in the north of the city, just days after mum-of-three Renee Good was shot three times in the head and killed. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) claimed a man attempted to evade from “targeted traffic stop” before crashing his his car and fleeing on foot. The government then claimed two people came to attack the ICE agent with “a snow shovel and broom handle”, before the official shot a man in the leg because he “feared for his life”.

Somehow the DHS, run by Trump crony Kristi Noem, found a way to attack the former President, who is still being treated for cancer, in a shameful attempt to leave the blame for unrest in the city elsewhere.
The opening line of a statement released by the DHS after the shooting said: “At 6:50 PM CT, federal law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted traffic stop in Minneapolis of an illegal alien from Venezuela who was released into the country by Joe Biden in 2022.”
Not only was reading Biden’s name a shock, but the ongoing attempts by Trump to point the finger at the ex-President, who has been out of politics altogether for a year, have been cringeworthy.
Unsurprisingly these Trump cronies ensured they found a way to deflect from the horrors that ICE has inflicted on Minneapolis to include a political dig.
The Democrat governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, and Democrat mayor, Jacob Frey, have also faced attacks from the Trump administration, after two federal agents have now picked up a gun and shot someone in Minneapolis.
The DHS statement added: “This attack on another brave member of law enforcement took place while Minnesota’s top leaders, Governor Walz and Mayor Frey, are actively encouraging an organized resistance to ICE and federal law enforcement officers.
“Their hateful rhetoric and resistance against men and women who are simply trying to do their jobs must end. Federal law enforcement officers are facing a 1,300% increase in assaults against them as they put their lives on the line to arrest criminals and lawbreakers.”
The US deputy attorney general, Todd Blanche, even found the time to label the governor and mayor’s leadership as “terrorism“. In an inflammatory post, focusing on two Democrat leaders rather than the ICE agents who have pulled their guns out at people, said: “ICE operates in thousands of counties without incident. Men and women doing their jobs, protecting us from criminal aliens.
“Minnesota insurrection is a direct result of a FAILED governor and a TERRIBLE mayor encouraging violence against law enforcement. It’s disgusting. Walz and Frey – I’m focused on stopping YOU from your terrorism by whatever means necessary. This is not a threat. It’s a promise.”
Mayor Frey stood up to the intimidation from Washington and blasted ICE, saying the controversial agency was “creating chaos” across Minnesota. Locals are clearly also fed up and scared of the influx of ICE agents pouring into their city – the Trump administration said it has sent around 3,000 extra officers in the past few weeks.
Huge protests erupted after Renee Good was brutally killed after she dropped her young son off at school. Trump and his yes men branded her a “domestic terrorist” in a sickening attack on a dead woman, with JD Vance even saying the killing was “a tragedy of her own making”.
While they claimed the mum tried to mow down ICE agent Renee Good in an unprovoked attack, bodycam footage from the agent released two days later put many of those MAGA claims into question.
Another set of protests after last night’s shooting saw federal agents bring out tear gas and pepper balls against locals who have had enough of their city being taken over by gangs of immigration agents who cover their faces to shield their identity as they detain and shoot people.
