Karoline Leavitt defends Trump’s McDonald’s behavior after MAHA tsar RFK Jr mentioned president must be useless

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt admitted that Donald Trump ‘has his own habits’ after he faced scrutiny over his diet of junk food and sodas.

The president’s love for McDonald’s was slated this week by his Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F Kennedy Jr., who said he was ‘pumping himself full of poison’ on a daily basis.

Trump’s diet was brought up as the White House launched its Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) campaign, which saw Trump announce that schoolchildren will have access to whole milk nationwide on Wednesday.

Leavitt, a self-described ‘MAHA mom’, told Politico that while Trump doesn’t personally subscribe to healthy eating, he ‘understands the movement.’

‘(Trump understands) the power behind all of these moms who have united in pushing for a real public health change, and he fully supports it and gets it,’ Leavitt said.

‘He’s also a huge believer in choice for parents in parental decision making, whether it comes to education or health.

‘He knows that parents are the best people who are best suited to make decisions for their kids, and he fully empowers that mentality.’

Leavitt offered a far more generous take on Trump’s eating habits than Kennedy earlier this week, who said on the Katie Miller Podcast: ‘I don’t know how he’s alive.’

President Trump’s love for McDonald’s was defended as having ‘his own habits’ as his diet came under scrutiny amid his administration’s ‘Make America Healthy Again’ movement

Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F Kennedy Jr., said he was ‘pumping himself full of poison’ on a daily basis

The health secretary told Katie Miller, the wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, that Trump ‘eats really bad food’ essentially every day.

‘McDonald’s, and candy and Diet Coke. But he drinks Diet Coke at all times,’ he said.

Kennedy quipped that for the 79-year-old president to keep going every day, he ‘has the constitution of a deity.’

He added that Trump may opt for a healthier option if eating at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, but he is afraid of food contamination while traveling and insists on eating fast food because he ‘trusts it.’

‘He doesn’t want to get sick,’ Kennedy said.

White House spokesman Kush Desai said in a statement to People following Kennedy’s remarks: ‘Secretary Kennedy is right: as his golf championships and flawless physical report results indicate, President Trump has the constitution and energy levels most young people could only dream of having.’

On Wednesday, Trump welcomed farmers into the Oval Office as he signed the ‘Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act’ into law.

Trump remarked on his own health at the event, joking that drinking whole milk helped him pass cognitive tests.

‘I’ve taken a lot of them,’ Trump said. ‘I’ve aced every one of them because I drink milk.’

Kennedy revealed that Trump eats junk food because he is afraid of food contamination while traveling, and insists on eating fast food because he ‘trusts it… he doesn’t want to get sick’

Amid allegations that he has fallen asleep at White House events since retaking office, Trump took to his Truth Social platform earlier this month to brag of his ‘perfect health.’

‘The White House Doctors have just reported that I am in ‘PERFECT HEALTH,’ and that I ‘ACED’ (Meaning, was correct on 100% of the questions asked!), for the third straight time, my Cognitive Examination, something which no other President, or previous Vice President, was willing to take,’ Trump wrote.

‘P.S., I strongly believe that anyone running for President, or Vice President, should be mandatorily forced to take a strong, meaningful, and proven Cognitive Examination.

‘Our great Country cannot be run by ‘STUPID’ or INCOMPETENT PEOPLE! President DJT.’
