Call The Midwife star Olly Rix has revealed he is engaged to his stunning co-star Anna Chell after splitting from his very famous ex girlfriend.
Olly, 40, took to Instagram on Monday to reveal he had popped the question to her in a new Instagram post.
The actor – who played Matthew Aylward on Call The Midwife, met Anna, 29, when he joined the show with her having played the role of Jodie Whyte since 2023.
He shared a snap of himself kissing Anna on the head adding ring and love heart emojis.
He had previously confirmed their romance by sharing romantic photos from their summer together on Instagram.
He wrote: ‘He captioned the post: ‘Summer with Anna and Nellie’.’

Olly was previously rumoured in a relationship with his Call The Midwife star Helen George.
They were linked after splitting from their partners in 2023.
He joined the cast of Casualty after the relationship broke down, playing surgeon Flynn Byron since 2024.
Helen, 41, plays Trixie Franklin, the wife of Olly’s Call The Midwife character, has since moved in with her boyfriend Dan Innes.
She posted a selfie of herself and the father of two, 52, with their Christmas tree last month.

Helen grew close to Olly after she split from her partner Jack Ashton in July 2023 after seven years together, whilst Olly separated from his girlfriend Natasha Fagri at a similar time.
Helen and Olly were said to be supporting each other as they navigated their respective splits.
While a source added: ‘Helen and Jack’s decision to end their relationship has been amicable, and no one else is involved, they have just grown apart as a couple.’
In November 2023, she was snapped leaving Olly’s home which sparked rumours of a growing connection between the pair – but have now unfollowed each other on Instagram.
In 2016, Helen began a relationship with Ashton after meeting on the set of Call the Midwife, in which she plays Trixie Franklin.
The actor portrays Reverend Tom Hereward and the pair’s characters embarked on a romance on screen and Tom proposed to Trixie, before she ended their relationship.
In real life, the couple were said to have fallen for each other after travelling to South Africa to film the show’s 2016 Christmas Special.
Confirming the split, Helen told The Mirror in July 2023: ‘Some months ago, we separated. Our two beautiful girls remain the focus and I respectfully ask for privacy for this next chapter.’
Helen was previously married to actor Oliver Boot, but they divorced after three years.
Helen met her former partner on the set of BBC drama Hotel Babylon, and the couple married in December 2012.
Their separation occurred just weeks before Helen began her stint on Strictly in 2015 in which she was paired with pro dancer Aljaž Skorjanec and finished in sixth place.
