Isabelle Dale, 23, had sex with a convicted robber at a prater room in HMP Coldingley in Surrey as two prisoners kept watch outside and sent him love letters laced with drugs
A glam prison officer who had a four-minute romp with an inmate in a prison prayer room and had a fling with second lag has been jailed.
Isabelle Dale, 23, dubbed ‘Miss Sneaky’, had sex with convicted robber Shahid Sharif at HMP Coldingley in Surrey as two inmates stood outside as lookouts.
Dale was today jailed for three-and-a-half years after she was previously found guilty of two counts of misconduct in a public office and conspiracy to convey a ‘List A’ prohibited article into prison.
During her trial, jurors were told Dale was charmedby Shariff, 33, after he reportedly serenaded her over the phone.
Southwark Crown Court was told how two prisoners would stand guard as Dale allegedly had sex with Sharif in a prayer room at the jail. Dale reportedly emerged with him four minutes later appearing to “re-adjust her belt area,” the jury was told.
The jury heard recordings of one chat, during which Dale told the lag: “I like that one baby…I’m so proud of you. My favourite one (rap) you’ve ever done…is the first one you ever sent me.”
Sharif was three years into the 12-year stretch he received for his role in a brutal robbery of a jeweller’s shop, during which times worth £620,000 were snatched.
Dale wrote love letters addressed to her “sneaky” – a reference to Sharif’s nickname – that were discovered in the inmates cell. She also has “Sneaks” tattooed on the back of her neck and liked to call herself “Miss Sneaky”.
Some of these had been laced with synthetic cannabis or “Spice”.
The prison officer wrote: “I literally worship the ground you walk on, you are my best friend, my motivation, the reason I keep fighting.” Dale also said his music was “phenomenal” and praised his ability to “create all those bars in such a short period of time”.
She continued: “You are so talented and I am honoured to be the girl that gets to stand by your side.”
Dale added: “I would take a bullet for you without a doubt. I will remain right next to you in all that you do, whether it’s through good or bad, I am right next to you. I will do anything I can to help you and that’s because the love runs deep.”
She bought herself a £3,000 engagement ring and a framed canvas of the pair hanging over her bed. Sharif also enlisted Dale to help him smuggle envelopes soaked with the drug spice into his new prison, jurors heard.
Police also discovered text messages that showed she had “at least” one other sexual relationship with an inmate at the prison.
The other inmate involved was named as Connor Money. He was serving nine years for killing his best friend in a car crash while escaping police in a 147mph motorway chase.
In one message, Dale told Money: “You maybe just wanting to use me because I’m an officer but I don’t think your like that xx”.
