Meghan Markle has been cancelled by Netflix – well, her show has been, anyway. With Love, Meghan, has been delighting (?) audiences on the streaming platform for the last year, but it has now been confirmed by sources close to her that the show will not air for a third series.

The show, part of a £75m deal between Netflix and Acrhewell Productions, is – or was – a lifestyle television series hosted and executive produced by the Duchess of of Sussex.

The show, which premiered in March 2025, features Meghan and her guests preparing food, gardening, and doing crafts, focusing on tips for hosting and home entertaining.

And while series one frequently spent time in Netflix’s top 10 shows, series two did not and it was never the most well-received by critics, with some calling it a “gormless lifestyle filler,” while another review labelled it “so boring, so painfully contrived, so effortfully whimsical”.

However, it looks like the pain for some is at an end for the show Meghan herself once called “a lot of work”.

According to one insider speaking to Page Six: “It’s not returning as a series. There have been conversations about holiday specials, but there’s nothing in the works yet.”

But fear not, because the 44-year-old is seemingly going to put all her eggs into her lifestyle brand As Ever, where people can see “see similar cooking and crafting on Meghan’s socials for the brand, but more bite-sized”.

Previously, Meghan has raved over the show and the idea behind it, stating: “I think I knew who I was trying to meet (with the show) – if you know your audience, you know your demographic, well, they love the show.

“The series is about doing what you can do, and doing it with love”. She also mentioned that “Part of what’s really really important is that love language of taking care of people feeds me. It’s in many ways part of my self care.”

And she also said, hitting back at critics: “I think often times, the negative voices are saying negative things, and then secretly going home and making single-skillet spaghetti?

“Possibly. And that’s all right. They’re trying to pay their bills, and that’s for them to sort out if they’re comfortable doing it at someone else’s detriment.”
