- Geelong great broke his silence at the Australian Open
Footy legend Billy Brownless has addressed wild rumours he recently split with his glamorous partner of 18 months, Crystle Fleur.
Brownless, 58, was spotted at the Australian Open this week with his better half, and he confirmed the couple are still together.
‘We had a trip away and we posted a bit, so just thought we’d go under the radar,’ he told News Corp.
‘A lot of people seem to have noticed.’
Brownless – who is noticeably slimmer – and Fleur were at Melbourne Park as guests of upmarket champagne brand Piper-Heidsieck.
Fellow AFL great Chris Judd and his wife Bec also graced the Piper-Heidsieck bar, cheering on local hope Adam Walton against world No.1 Carlos Alcaraz.

Triple M identity Brownless and Fleur turned heads at the Geelong Cats awards night at Crown Palladium in Melbourne last October.
The Geelong Hall of Fame member suited up in navy blue for the occasion, while Fleur looked radiant in a champagne-coloured gown.
In July last year, Brownless was preparing to make a shock TV comeback – but not with Channel Nine, where he was employed for 27 years.
Brownless joined the likes of Brian Taylor, Matthew Richardson, Andy Maher and Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico in commentary for the Legends Game for Prostate Cancer at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on August 28.
It comes after Brownless – who left Channel Nine’s Footy Show in 2021 – revealed his kids were horrified by his now infamous viral skinny-dipping stunt in 2025.
One of his children, Ruby, even went as far as calling him a ‘d***head’ after seeing the confronting image online.
The father-of-four later revealed it was Fleur who instigated the photo opportunity while he enjoyed a casual dip when away on holiday in Western Australia.

Not surprisingly, the presenter of Triple M’s Rush Hour alongside James Brayshaw attracted plenty of comments for the risqué picture.
One included a message from Bec Judd, who enjoyed a getaway with a group of family and friends at the same location.
‘Hahahaha. Nice seeing you. Glad you had some clothes on (this time),’ she joked.
Collingwood premiership winner Dale Thomas, who now works on Channel Seven’s footy coverage, joked: ‘Reverse angle is a Nirvana album cover,’ in reference to the band’s breakthrough album cover Nevermind.
