Brit, 23, ‘caught’ in Thai seashore intercourse act with girl, 61, offers weird ‘I’ve ADHD’ excuse

A British tourist found himself in handcuffs following an alleged public sex act with a woman on a Thailand beach.

Holidaymaker Loucaides, 23, from London, allegedly paid Nuchjaree, 61, to perform oral sex on him on the sand in Pattaya’s notorious red-light district. Disturbing footage apparently captured the inebriated naked tourist sprawled on the beach with his legs raised as the elderly sex worker got down to business.

But disgusted witnesses clocked the pair and rang the authorities in the early hours of Friday morning (January 23). The Briton and his alleged paid companion were both nicked, though they made an extraordinary excuse to officers.

The apparently drunk tourist hastily pulled on a pair of shorts before questioning the coppers: “What’s wrong? What’s the matter?” The duo were hauled off to the nick and slapped with public obscenity charges, carrying a maximum penalty of 5,000 baht (£119), reports the Mirror.

The pair insisted they had no idea the public sex act was against the law. Loucaides reportedly told officers in his defence that he suffered from ADHD, whilst Nuchjaree claimed she was “a Singaporean student studying in Thailand”.

Police Major Chanan Kesornbua stated: “Both of the offenders were handed over to the investigating officer for further legal proceedings. The tourist was released when a fine was paid.”

A stunned motorist described the moment he spotted something suspicious on the well-known beach, though he didn’t initially twig it was an alleged steamy encounter. Taxi driver Somsak Pativat said: “I thought someone had a medical problem at first, because they were in an unusual position.

“I pulled over and looked with another person. They made a recording of what was happening for evidence while I called over the police, as the station is very near.

“I was only driving someone from Bangkok, and I don’t visit Pattaya often, so this is the first time I have seen people doing that on the beach. They both must have been very drunk, because they didn’t care who was watching.”

Pattaya has established itself as Thailand’s premier tourist hotspot, driven by the appeal of drinking establishments, massage venues, and affordable adult entertainment. Some Brits have branded it a ‘p**** Disneyland’, where visitors can discover relationships and encounters not readily accessible back home.

Nevertheless, the area is increasingly viewed as damaging Thailand’s broader reputation as a family-oriented holiday spot boasting magnificent coastlines, cuisine and cultural heritage. This follows the arrest of a British yoga instructor in Thailand for allegedly running tantric intimacy workshops for merely £10 behind a well-known eatery.

Officers stated they detained Maria Shchetinina mid-session during a November 4, 2025 raid. Authorities claimed she was operating workshops as a yoga instructor using the alias Maria Sky Love whilst possessing authorisation to work as a “customer relations manager”.

During the arrest, she was heard stating: “My lawyer said it’s ok, it’s good.” She was subsequently charged for undertaking work not specified in her documents.
