Is This What JD Vance Meant By ‘Absolute Immunity’?

The day after Renée Good was killed in Minneapolis, Vice President JD Vance offered a chilling defense of ICE officers — or perhaps it was a threat. The officer who shot Good, Vance said, “is protected by absolute immunity.”

“The precedent is simple,” Vance said.

Now, federal agents have shot and killed 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti. (Warning: graphic footage.)

Vance’s response to this ghastly slaughter by federal officers his administration sent in to Minneapolis? Blame local cops, and call the victim a terrorist.

So, Mr. Vice President, is this what you meant by absolute immunity?
