Olympic Games legend Lindsey Vonn has sent her fans into raptures after resharing a video of her working out in nothing but body paint.
The skiing superstar is preparing for the upcoming Winter Games in Italy, having come out of retirement in December 2024 after more than five years away from competitive action. Going for gold again will undoubtedly rekindle some old memories for the 41-year-old, who used to date golf great Tiger Woods.
Ahead of the Games, Vonn has already been reliving the past by following the ‘2016 trend’ which sees social media users, including high-profile celebrities, resharing memories from a decade ago. Vonn’s reel from the past includes a look back at her Sports Illustrated photoshoot, which saw her and tennis legend Caroline Wozniacki, Rory McIlroy’s ex, don nothing but body paint.
A video of her doing pull-ups and a topless beach shot leaves little to the imagination. The eye-popping collection also features her looking glamorous at red carpet events, celebrating at skiing events, receiving treatment for an injury after a crash and selfies from her private life.

The pictures brought back fond memories for Wozniacki, 35, who commented: “Our body paint shoot!! Also, you haven’t aged a day!!!”
Wozniacki has also taken part in the ‘2016 trend’ craze. Her reel also featured her Sports Illustrated cover shoot, as well as her hitting a golf shot into the sea while wearing nothing but a bikini.

Meanwhile, other followers were quick to brand her “beautiful,” “gorgeous,” and “breathtaking.” Another, alluding to her upcoming Olympic comeback, wrote: “You rock!!! We are so behind you!”
Vonn should be in the mix for medals after becoming the oldest winner of a World Cup race last month. She clinched the top spot in the opening women’s downhill race of the season, beating Magdalena Egger by 0.98 seconds to earn an 83rd World Cup win in St Moritz.

Speaking after the emotional win, she said: “I just called my dad, he was crying so hard, I’ve never heard him so emotional in my whole life, it made me cry too. The win means so much to me. I knew in the summer I was on the right path, and all the hard work has paid off.”

Earlier this month, she won another downhill World Cup title in Zauchensee, Austria. Vonn was fastest by 0.37 seconds from Norway’s Kajsa Vickhoff Lie with a run of one minute 06.24 seconds. It was Vonn’s fourth podium from four downhills this season, increasing her lead in the World Cup standings.
Vonn, who has one gold and two bronze Olympic medals, is set to represent the United States at the Milan-Cortina Winter Games, which begin on February 6.
