Alexander Key went missing on Friday and has not been seen since. Police investigating his disappearance have now released new images hoping to jog the public’s memory
Police have released new CCTV footage in their ongoing search for the partner of Mick Jagger’s granddaughter. They are hoping that these last official sightings could be enough to find a new lead in their search for the missing man.
Alexander Key, 37, had been believed to have vanished without a trace on Friday (January 23) after last being seen at 2:20pm that day. Since then, there has been no new information as investigators race to find him before the trail goes cold.
Now, Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for anyone who might have seen the chef to get in touch as soon as possible. It comes as his partner, Assisi Jackson, 33, is left worried sick as she cares for their two kids.
Releasing images of Alexander, Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed there was one more sighting of the missing man on Saturday (January 24). In the footage, he can be seen walking past the Wellington Pub in the Cornish town of Boscastle.
In the video, he appears to walk along Old Road, heading towards the River Valency, close to Boscastle’s harbour. The footage shows Alexander wearing a red shirt, that he was already known to have worn the previous night.
He could also be spotted wearing a pair black trainers, as well as a large blue anorak-style coat. This could make him appear to brace himself for poor weather conditions as the South West of England was battered by heavy rain over the weekend.
Renewing their appeal for information, Devon and Cornwall Police described the 37-year-old as standing around 5ft 8in tall. He is also said to be of a medium build, with bright peroxide blonde hair.
His fashion sense usually makes him easy to spot, officers have said, as he is normally seen wearing bright coloured clothing. However, following the latest update with the release of the CCTV footage, investigators are hoping to piece together the events that led up to Alexander’s disappearance.
In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police urged anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible. A spokesperson for the force said: “If you have seen Alexander, or know of his whereabouts, please call police immediately on 999, quoting log number 847 of 24/1/26.”
Alexander is believed to be in a long-term relationship with Assisi Jackson, who is the granddaughter of Rolling Stones legend Sir Mick Jagger, 82. Assisi has not publicly given a statement amid the ongoing search for her partner.
Previously, CCTV footage had shown Alexander in a pub in the town on Friday afternoon, appearing to sit by himself hours before he had been reported missing. Assisi’s mother, Jade Jagger, took to her social media on Monday (January 26), to share the appeal, hoping it could help jog the public’s memory on whether they had seen him.
Officers have said in previous updates they are gradually becoming more and more concerned for Alexander’s welfare, and are now combing the area for any potential clues as to where he may be. The entire town of Boscastle is being searched, known for its rugged landscape and dramatic clifftops.
