Two Tottenham stars concerned in Ferrari automobile crash as Thomas Frank shares replace

Thomas Frank has spoken after Wilson Odobert and Randal Kolo Muani were involved in a car crash.

The Tottenham Hotspur duo were pictured standing beside a mangled Ferrari in a layby, with the vehicle’s right side completely destroyed and the airbag deployed.

Neither player appears to have sustained injuries from the smash, and both were seen wearing Tottenham training kit with their hoods pulled up.

It comes as Spurs finalise their preparations for Wednesday night’s Champions League encounter against Eintracht Frankfurt at the Deutsche Bank Arena.

Speaking at a press conference before Wednesday’s fixture, Frank has now confirmed both players escaped unharmed and will make the journey to Germany this evening, reports Football London.

Frank said: “Kolo Muani and Wilson Odobert are both fine. They were unfortunately involved in a minor accident.

“Everyone else involved is fine. It was a tyre blowing up. They will be travelling a little later tonight.”

The north London outfit currently sit fifth in the league table going into the match, and harbour strong ambitions of earning direct progression to the competition’s last 16.

During the same press conference, Frank revealed to journalists that several players will be unavailable for Wednesday’s clash due to injury.

He said: “Pedro [Porro] has a hamstring injury and will be out for four weeks. Micky [Van de Ven] has something minor and hasn’t travelled but could be available for City.

“Pape [Matar Sarr] is available again and so is Joao Palhinha.”

Discussing how Spurs can turn their season around and make strides in Europe, Frank highlighted the return of injured players as a significant advantage.

He added: “We need to keep doing the right things and improve the things we want to do. Also getting players back.

“Dom [Solanke] is huge for us and he’s been out for six months. To have your main striker and top scorer out, I’d like to see other teams deal with that. He’s a physical beast and he’s been pushing himself.”
