Slovakia’s prime minister, an ally of Donald Trump, reportedly told other EU leaders that he was left shocked following a recent meeting with the US leader, with concerns about his state of mind.
Robert Fico, one of the few European leaders who regularly backs Trump’s stance on the weakness of the EU, has concerns over the “psychological state” of the US president, according to two European diplomats briefed on the conversation.
Fico reportedly used the word “dangerous” to describe how Trump came across during a face-to-face at the president’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on January 17.
