NFL star rips Tom Brady over alleged affect on Las Vegas workforce: ‘Raiders f***ing suck’

Tom Brady has been mocked over his role as a minority owner of Las Vegas, with one NFL player claiming: ‘The Raiders f***ing suck!’

The seven-time Super Bowl winner owns only 5 percent of the franchise but is said to have a huge influence in Las Vegas alongside general manager John Spytek.

Brady has faced accusations of a conflict of interest, given his role as a lead NFL analyst with Fox.

But, according to a survey by The Athletic, most NFL players have no issue with Brady juggling a broadcasting career with his role with the Raiders – in part because of Las Vegas’ struggles on the field.

The Raiders will have the No 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after a miserable season when Las Vegas went 3-14 before firing Pete Carroll.

‘The Raiders f***ing suck,’ one player, described as an “NFC defensive veteran,” told The Athletic. ‘How is it helping with that? What are we talking about?’

Nearly 80 players players took part in The Athletic’s annual anonymous player survey, with 84.2 percent responding that they were ‘OK with Tom Brady being allowed to be an owner and broadcaster in the NFL.’

Some players reportedly feel Brady’s success on the field should give him more leeway in retirement. ‘Only GOAT’s can do that type of stuff,’ one said. ‘He’s earned the right to do that,’ another added.

Five players answered ‘No,’ while seven responded that they don’t know or don’t care about Brady’s dual role.

Ahead of the 2025 campaign – the second season of Brady’s 10-year, $375m Fox deal – the NFL eased some of its restrictions on the retired quarterback.

This year, the league allowed Brady to participate in production meetings with teams, provided they were conducted virtually or via Zoom. He was, however, still banned from watching practices or setting foot in a team’s training complex.

The rules were introduced after the seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback bought his stake in the Raiders.

Brady was allowed to attend production meetings with Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles players and coaches ahead of Super Bowl 59. But the 48-year-old wasn’t able to view practices.
