Chappell Roan shocked the Grammy Awards

Chappell Roan set pulses racing at last night’s Grammy award show when she went fully nude down to her belly button. The Pink Pony Club singer arrived at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles in a dark red dress last night.

The 27-year-old shocked photographers when she took off the top half of her outfit revealing her completely bare breasts apart from piercings covering her nipples. She was seen in two other outfits throughout the night but neither were as daring as her first.

Stars including Addison Rae, Olivia Dean and Doechii dazzled on the carpet, with each performer bringing their distinctive edge to the 68th Grammy Awards. Rather than the typical red carpet fare of understated evening gowns and classic Hollywood elegance, the

Grammys celebrate boundary-pushing ensembles and unforgettable fashion moments.

With major industry heavyweights like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift notably missing from proceedings, rising stars seized their moment to shine.

“Some years when really established names like a Rihanna or a Taylor Swift comes, they can kind of suck up all the oxygen in the room and really command the spotlight as they’ve earned,” explained Halie LeSavage, Marie Claire’s senior fashion news editor. “But in this case, there’s a really strong field of best new artists nominees who… have created a really distinct sense of personal style.”

Roan certainly didn’t squander her chance to craft a show-stopping red carpet moment. Trading last year’s canary yellow Jean Paul Gaultier tulle ballgown for something far racier, Roan opted for the barely-there trend, dramatically discarding her translucent red garnet Mugler cape to reveal a georgette négligée dress fastened to her chest.

The plunging number showcased an intricate design adorning her back. “She’s such a shape-shifter,” InStyle Beauty Director Lauren Valenti said.

“She was just kind of looking like this moody pre-Raphaelite goddess.”

Amid all the sparkle and spectacle, understated pins made a powerful statement across the red carpet.

Music heavyweights including Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber, alongside Kehlani, seized their moment to take a stand against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement by sporting “ICE OUT” pins in response to the Trump administration’s deportation drive sweeping cities nationwide.
