Sarah Ferguson visited Jeffrey Epstein just days after he was released from jail for child sex crimes – and took her two young daughters with her.
The former Duchess of York is said to have taken Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to see the paedophile in July 2009, less than a week after he was freed from prison after being banned up for 12 months for soliciting a child for prostitution.
The shocking visit emerged in the recently released trove of documents relating to the disgraced financier, who said in an email sent to his then-girlfriend and sex trafficking accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell: “Ferg and the two girls come [sic] yesterday.”
Beatrice and Eugenie – Fergie’s kids with shamed ex-royal Ordinary Andy Windsor-Mountbatten – would have been aged 20 and 19 at the time of the visit.
The day before, Fergie emailed Epstein to arrange the visit, asking: “What address shall we come to. It will be myself, Beatrice and Eugenie. Are we having lunch?”
The revelation comes after it was emerged Fergie congratulated Epstein on the birth of a baby boy, according to new emails released by Department of Justice in the US.
In the messages, Sarah says she heard the news from her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. If it were true, it would make Epstein’s secret son 14 years old.
In another email – dated January 2010, months after Epstein was released from jail in Florida – Fergie wrote: “You are a legend. I really don’t have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness. Xx I am at your service. Just marry me.”
She also appears to have thanked Epstein for “being the brother I have always wished for” in an email exchange in August 2009.
Other emails show how Epstein wanted the former Duchess to say she had been “duped” into believing false allegations about him after she told a newspaper she wanted “nothing ever to do with Jeffrey Epstein ever again”.
The following month, “Sarah” emailed Epstein saying she “did not” and “would not” call him a “P” and that she had acted to “protect my own brand”. Epstein told others “Fergie said she could organise tea in Buckingham Palace apts.. or Windsor Castle” in 2009.
These exchanges came days after the former duchess gave an interview with the then-editor of the Evening Standard Geordie Greig, where she apologised for accepting £15,000 from Epstein, saying: “I abhor paedophilia and any sexual abuse of children.”
Epstein died in prison in 2019 awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges. Ghislaine Maxwell was jailed for 20 years for conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse minors.
Questions over the former Prince Andrew’s relationship with the dead paedo lead for his angry big brother the King to strip him and his ex-wife of their royal titles and privileges. Andrew, accused of sexually assaulting two women, denies any wrongdoing.
