As more information from the latest release of the Epstein files comes to light, more details about Andrew’s alleged relationship with the convicted paedophile have emerged
Disgraced ex-prince Andrew Mountbatten Windsor appeared to tell Jeffrey Epstein he wanted to be his “pet” in a disturbing new email. It adds to the deepening scandal of the former royal’s relationship with the convicted paedophile, despite Andrew consistently denying the accusations against him.
Andrew has already been mentioned several times in emails that have been released in the latest drop of documents in the Epstein files. With over 3 million documents to go through, investigators are combing through the details to uncover just how Epstein was able to get away with his crimes.
Now leaked emails between the financier and former duke have revealed some of the conversations the pair used to have. This includes some messages where Andrew appeared to ask to be Epstein’s “pet”.
According to the Sun, the emails come from a person known as “A”, believed to be Andrew. The sender can be seen writing: “God it’s cold and dank here! Wish I was still a pet in your family!”
It comes after one photo released by the US Department of Justice on Friday (January 30) shows the former Duke of York barefoot, crouching over an unidentified woman, although the context has not been determined.
Then, over the weekend, a woman came forward to allege that Epstein had flown a woman to Britain in order to spend the night with Andrew at his Royal Lodge home in Windsor. This became the second woman to allege sexual crimes against the ex-royal after Virginia Giuffre claimed she had sex with Andrew, claims which he strongly denies.
Now, as the latest set of revelations come to light on just how close the ex-Duke was with Epstein, King Charles was reportedly blindsided at the sheer scope of Andrew’s relationship with Epstein. Source within the royal household are now reportedly urging the disgraced ex-prince to work with US Congress to bring Epstein’s victims justice.
It comes after Andrew was officially stripped of all his royal titles in October following intense scrutiny and pressure on the King. Andrew was also stripped of his residence at the Royal Lodge and has since been evicted, now moving to Marsh Farm on the King’s Norfolk estate.
But Andrew is not the only high-profile Brit who has been implicated into the latest drop, after Lord Mandelson was also drawn into the Epstein debacle. He is also seen to make sick jokes with Epstein about marrying Andrew’s daughter Princess Beatrice.
In one set of leaked emails, Epstein tells Lord Mandelson to ask for her hand in marriage, saying “the Queen would love a queen as a grandson”. Mandelson is believed to have replied: “Remember, I am already her Lord President,” to which Epstein fires back: “Does that make it incest, how exciting.”
Lord Mandelson later gave up his position within the House of Lords on Tuesday (February 3), despite a previous statement saying he wished he had never known the convicted sex offender. Mandelson denies all allegations against him.
