A furious customer was caught on video throwing chips at a takeaway worker in a fit of rage after complaining that his meal had gone cold.
The man was filmed throwing his dinner at staff in a video which has been shared around the internet.
The customer has been widely criticised on social media for his outburst and rudeness towards staff at Jacob’s Fish and Chips in Blackwood, South Wales.
In the video, the man was seen arguing with staff, appearing to complain that the chips had become cold within ‘half an hour’.
He can be heard saying: ‘It doesn’t matter, we got to the house, sat down and ate. I’m trying to be fair.
‘You’re telling me your chips go like that in half an hour, because I have never known a fish shop chips go like that in half an hour.’
A young member of staff then tries to reason with the man before he sends the bag of chips flying in the air towards workers, shouting ‘f*** you’ as he leaves.

In a fit of rage, he then threw the ‘cold’ chips at a restaurant worker in a now viral video
The woman who captured the moment on camera said: ‘Attitude of a pig! Only doing their job, refunded him, apologised and he spoke to them like utter s** before slamming the door on his way out.’
Social media users also criticised the customer for his behaviour towards the staff at the takeaway.
One user said: ‘Disgusting behaviour of a grown man.’
Another wrote: ‘He is only acting remorseful now he’s been caught out and on video. I very doubt he would have acted like that if there was a grown man behind the counter.’
The chip shop has now thanked customers for their support after footage on the incident went viral online.
The manager said: ‘I will agree the picture of the chips they sent me did look bad and I was willing to rectify the issue until I learnt the chips were left for half an hour before consuming and that the man who came in to complain threw the chips all over the shop.’
He said the customer had later returned to the shop and apologised saying he had ‘just snapped’.
