Marjorie Taylor Greene is addressing the elephant — or rather, sycophants — in the room.
On Monday, the former Republican lawmaker called out those in her party who are staying mum after President Donald Trump attacked Rep. Thomas Massie’s (R-Ky.) wife — yet again.
“All the weak Republicans in the House stay silent refusing to utter even a word of support for their ‘friend’ Thomas Massie,” Greene wrote on social media. “Shame on every one of you. Cowards. You make me sick.”

Earlier that day, Trump published a post on his Truth Social platform in which he accused the Kentucky Republican’s new wife, Carolyn Moffa Massie, of being “a Radical Left ‘flamethrower,’” which in MAGA speak is fightin’ words.
Massie’s first wife and “high school sweetheart,” Rhonda Howard Massie, died in June 2024, and Massie married Moffa in October 2025.

Trump has been salty with Massie for quite a while for being one of several “stupid” Republicans who joined a petition to force a vote on the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. So, the president — who has been married three times — has been trying to get under Massie’s skin by attacking his new wife and the swiftness of their union.

“People are saying that Thomas Massie became a Liberal because his new wife, blessed be their marriage, is supposedly a Radical Left ‘flamethrower,’” Trump wrote on Truth Social Monday. “This new union all went so fast that maybe he didn’t know what he was getting into but, nevertheless, he is an absolutely terrible and unreliable ‘Republican.’”

After endorsing Ed Gallrein to take Massie’s seat in Kentucky, Trump claimed that Massie “has been totally disloyal to the President of the United States, and the Republican Party.”
“He never votes for us, he always goes with the Democrats,” Trump said. “Thomas Massie is a Complete and Total Disaster, we must make sure he loses, BIG!”
In response, Massie took Trump’s bait and defended his wife in an X post Monday.

“So now he’s attacking my wife who voted for him three times,” Massie said. “Maybe someone told him she’s actually the one who suggested I ask Pam Bondi in person at a dinner when we would get Phase 2 of the Epstein files. Bondi said there were no more files. As they say, the rest is history.”
Although Massie’s fellow Republicans stuck up for him the last time Trump tried to torch his wife, they have been pretty quiet this time around. Their silence prompted Greene to not only defend Massie but also offer her former colleagues a warning about being too loyal to Trump.
“President Trump treats those who support him the most like crap,” Greene, who was once one of Trump’s most vocal supporters before the president turned on her over the Epstein files, which Greene publicly demanded should be released. In November, Greene announced she was resigning from Congress amid her beef with Trump, whom she said “threatened” her.

“Thomas Massie votes with the President 91% of the time,” Greene wrote on X Monday, “but won’t vote to protect Epstein’s sick pedophile and rapists friends.”
She continued, “The President should be more concerned with voters, who put him in office, like Thomas Massie’s wife, not super rich donors and their favorite foreign countries and business demands.”

Greene went on to suggest that instead of hurling petty insults at a lawmaker and his spouse, Trump should be focusing his energy on the recent Democratic state Senate win in “super red districts” in Texas.
“But instead he’s attacking REPUBLICAN Thomas Massie with one of the most conservative voting records in the House and his new wife with a three time MAGA voting record,” Greene said.
