Women looking for the killer body are injecting fat from corpses into their boobs and bums. A growing number of cosmetic surgery fans are using the fat from dead bodies in boob jobs and Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL).

Fat is usually extracted from the patient by liposuction and then reinjected into them, but the grim new trend sees it being taken from dead donors. It is taking the US by storm, particularly among women who don’t have enough to suck out of their own bodies.

Dr Melissa Doft, a plastic surgeon in Manhattan, said in an Instagram post: “Many of us in New York City are very excited about this, particularly because our patients are sometimes very thin or maybe have already had liposuction.”

The filler, called AlloClae, is made from sterile fat harvested from cadavers and can be administered through minimally invasive, in-office injections by a qualified provider, without the need for general anesthesia.

Before it’s injected, the donor fat is cleaned, sterilised and purified to remove cellular debris, DNA and other elements that could trigger a negative immune response in the body it is being implanted to.

Advocates say it can refine, reshape or replace volume anywhere fat naturally exists and lasts longer than synthetic filler as it consists of natural fat and collagen so wouldn’t be broken down by the body over time, the way fillers are.

It the US market last year but only around 5% of plastic surgeons are said to have it and those that do facing a surge in demand. And women are paying thousands of dollars to use it to fill out hip dips and droopy bums and perk up saggy breasts.

Taylor Frankie Paul, star of the hit Disney+ show “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is among the celebs who known to have flocked to try the new treatment.

Dr. Sachin M. Shridharani, who began offering the procedure at his Manhattan clinic, told the New York Post: “There have been multiple times that we’ve actually run out of product.”

But UK experts aren’t so keen to jump on the bandwagon. Dr Chung Tang, a GP at Pall Mall Healthcare and Cosmetic Surgery, told the Sun: “Put simply, this is a very high-risk procedure that has not been approved and is illegal in the UK. This isn’t just ‘a new type of filler’.

“It’s a medical procedure using donated human tissue, and that carries much bigger risks than many people may realise. In the UK, cosmetic treatments have to meet strict safety rules.

“This one doesn’t yet meet those standards, which is why it hasn’t been approved.”
