A teenage student has tragically been found dead at her university accommodation. Lancashire Police were called to reports of a sudden death inside Ribble Hall, at the University of Lancashire campus on Victoria Street.
Officers were alerted at 1.15pm yesterday (February 5) and sadly discovered the body of a woman in her late teens inside the address, reports Lancs Live.
Investigations into her death are ongoing. A police spokesperson stated: “We were called at 1.15pm yesterday to an address in Victoria Street, Preston, to a report of a sudden death.”
“Officers attended and very sadly the body of a woman in her late teens was found inside the address. Our thoughts are with her family at this distressing time.
“Our enquiries into the death are ongoing.”
