Travis Kelce was spotted wearing yet another bold outfit as he missed out on the NFL Man of the Year Award at Thursday’s annual Honors ceremony.
While he was not pictured arriving on the red carpet, and only made it onto the stage briefly as the Kansas City Chiefs’ club winner of the Man of the Year prize, Kelce still managed to steal the limelight while rocking a quirky snakeskin-style number and shades at the glitzy event.
And fans didn’t need long to troll the Chiefs tight end, who is well known for his flamboyant dress sense.
One wrote on X sarcastically: ‘Man, he is SOOO hard to pick out of the crowd!’
Another said while also referencing his older brother: ‘Jason looks great, not so sure about Trav in that’.
‘It looks like snake print,’ a third concluded.
Travis Kelce was spotted wearing yet another bold outfit at the NFL Honors on Thursday night
The Kansas City Chiefs icon was seen watching the ceremony alongside older brother Jason
While one joked: ‘He looks like he owns a fake cologne store’.
Kelce was not joined by fiancee Taylor Swift at the ceremony in San Francisco, despite a host of WAGs hitting the red carpet with their football-star beaus on Thursday night.
The Kansas City icon was eventually snubbed for the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which was claimed by Washington Commanders star Bobby Wagner.
Kelce is currently weighing up whether to return for another season with Kansas City after a miserable 2025 campaign which saw the team miss out on a playoff berth for the first time since 2014.
While he hasn’t offered any clarity on his future, the Daily Mail exclusively reported last month that Kelce is planning to return for one final season.
It’s believed that the return of offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is pushing him to play the 2026 season.
Under Bieniemy, Kelce had some of the greatest statistical seasons of his career and won multiple Super Bowl titles.
Kelce considered hanging up the helmet last year after his poor individual year ended with a Super Bowl hammering against the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, after another season of low production, that question comes to the fore once again.
There was no sign of Kelce’s fiancee Taylor Swift at the annual NFL ceremony on Thursday
Chiefs fans may thought there was confirmation of a reunion on Wednesday when quarterback Patrick Mahomes tweeted out ‘Let’s go!!!!!’ and tagged Kelce while adding three dartboard emojis.
Fans scrambled to social media, believing that Mahomes was hinting at a return for his favorite target. In reality, he was celebrating his good friend’s success in another sport.
Kelce was actually taking part in the golf pro-am for the Waste Management Phoenix Open – one of the PGA Tour’s most popular events – when he approached the famous ‘Stadium Hole’, the Par-3 16th.
He was dialed in and landed a perfectly struck iron shot within just about a foot of the hole.
The crowd went wild and Kelce celebrated with an ‘air guitar’ before high fiving his playing partners, with Swift even liking a clip of the shot on Instagram.
